About Me
Healing has been part of my path for as long as I can remember.
I grew up navigating a chaotic environment, experienced sexual trauma at 18, and dealt with mysterious health challenges from a young age. Long before I had language for any of it, I was searching for ways to create safety, freedom, beauty, and meaning inside myself.
Art became one of my first doorways.
Dance gave me a language before I knew how to speak about what I felt. Movement brought me into my body. Performance gave me permission to explore different parts of myself. And creating became a way of turning experience into something meaningful.
That relationship with creativity eventually became my career.
For nearly twenty years, I worked professionally across dance, choreography, directing, producing, film, television, theater, and live performance. I built a life around imagination and expression - and I loved the electricity of it.
But while my creative life was expanding, another journey was unfolding underneath it.
I had also become deeply interested in Yoga, Meditation, Ayurveda, Chinese Medicine, herbalism, nutrition, and the ancient wisdom traditions that understood the human being as something far more complex than a collection of symptoms.
I was beginning to understand something that would eventually become foundational to my work:
Healing is rarely about just one thing.
Changing what I ate wasn’t enough.
I needed to understand my nervous system. My patterns. My emotions. My energy. My history. My environment. My relationship to my body. My relationship to myself.
And then, in my early 30s, after years of stress, traveling, creating, working, pushing, and living la vida loca abroad, my body finally asked me to stop.
I burned out completely.
For three months, I was largely confined to bed, feeling as though the engine inside of me had disappeared.
It was terrifying - and transformational.
An early medical experience during that time left me feeling unseen and unheard, and something inside me became fiercely committed to understanding my own body.
I found practitioners who felt more aligned. I began advocating for myself. I went deeper into nutrition and supplementation, Chinese Medicine, nervous system healing, metaphysical and esoteric teachings, and the relationship between physical, emotional, environmental, and psychological stress.
And eventually, I entered Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training.
During that year, I became obsessed with one question:
What is at the root?
I wasn’t interested only in what was happening on the surface.
I wanted to understand what my body was communicating.
What patterns were asking to be changed.
What parts of myself needed to be reclaimed.
What wanted to be expressed.
What needed to be released.
And who I might become on the other side.
That question changed the direction of my life.
I went on to study Holistic Health Coaching, graduating from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in 2021, and continued expanding my studies and practice through herbalism, embodiment, inner child work, and transformational healing.
But I never stopped being an artist.
In fact, I began to understand that creativity itself is medicine.
Movement can be medicine.
Beauty can be medicine.
Making something with your hands can be medicine.
Singing, dancing, writing, imagining, playing, dressing wildly, tending herbs, creating ritual, making a home, telling the truth, and allowing yourself to be fully expressed can all become pathways back to ourselves.
And this is where all the pieces of my life finally meet.
