The Art of Becoming
Motherhood has opened yet another doorway into this work for me.
Becoming a mother has reminded me that transformation isn’t always about adding something new.
Sometimes it is an undoing.
A shedding.
A remembering.
A return to something ancient inside of us.
I am more interested than ever in the seasons and initiations that ask us to become someone we have never been before - birth, motherhood, healing, heartbreak, reinvention, creative awakening, and the moments when the old life no longer fits but the new one hasn’t fully arrived.
These thresholds are not interruptions to our lives.
They are our lives.
And I believe there is an art to meeting them consciously.
